The notification was released on 18 August 2026. Online applications will be accepted from 1 September to 30 September 2026.

BPSC TRE-4.0 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility varies according to the school level and subject. Candidates must possess the prescribed academic and teacher-training qualifications and meet the applicable TET requirements.

BPSC TRE-4.0 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. There is no interview.
- Preliminary Examination: 150 marks, objective type.
- Preliminary Examination duration: 2 hours.
- Negative marking applies as prescribed by BPSC.
- The Main Examination is also objective in nature.
- The language paper is qualifying with a minimum requirement of 30%.
