Nalanda University Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Librarian
• Master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years at Deputy Librarian/Additional Librarian level.

• Ph.D. in Library Science, Documentation, Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
2. Deputy Librarian
• Master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least 8 years of experience as Assistant University Librarian or College Librarian.
• Experience in innovative library services and ICT integration.
• Ph.D. in a relevant library or information science field.
3. Assistant Registrar
• Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent and a good academic record.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a university, educational or research institution, or equivalent administrative experience.
• Strong English-speaking ability and ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
• Additional qualifications in Management or Law and relevant administrative experience are desirable.
4. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience as a Junior Engineer or in a similar position.
• Experience with electrical installations and related systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of Contract Law and CPWD/PWD accounting procedures is desirable.
5. Senior Assistant
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in administration, establishment, academics, finance and accounts, or general supervision/management.
• Proficiency in computer operation, noting and drafting.
6. Library Assistant
• Master's Degree in Library & Information Science with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Library/Library and Information Science with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of computer applications is required.
7. Assistant
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in administration, establishment, academics, finance and accounts, or general supervision/management.
• Proficiency in computer operation, noting and drafting.
